Today’s waste of space on the editorial page begins with a rather uninteresting story from the Associated Press that about 6,000 of 32,000 jobs on Wisconsin’s official jobs website are not in Wisconsin, but in neighboring Illinois, Iowa or Minnesota. Very mildly interesting. Yes, folks who oppose Gov. Scott Walker (count us in) may have used this to bash the governor. That’s everyday political sniping.
Amazingly, of all the things going on in Madison and Wisconsin and the world, this is what our editorial discusses today, smugly telling it’s readers how the “real world” works. Namely, they might need to look for a job in a nearby state. We think everybody knew that already.
