Today again the Wisconsin State Journal makes the case for the Edgewater Hotel project, their 3rd booster editorial in the last two months. The project requires, they say, a $16 million subsidy from taxpayers, but the hot-and-cold emotions of the State Journal run hot for this project — $16 million hot. (That stuff they said just earlier about cutting ‘entitlements’ for old folks? That was different. That has to be done.)
Anyway it’s the same arguments as before. But they do offer a nice new artist’s rendering of what the project would look like:
